Accommodation & transportation in this city are generally problematic. This hotel deserves its 5 stars, very clean. Very busy. Rooms are big and super comfortable. Nice decoration, everything is modern. But it's at the very end of Corniche beach, not much to do when you reach the seashore, you can only jog and can't stop a taxi or find a bus by the seaside. Instead forget about the seashore and use Hamdan Street and buses to navigate and even to reach the sea (if you don't rent a car). There are bus stations nearby, one of them is for the airport, good that it's close. Hamdan Street is very long and not bad for shoppping or eating. Not loved the pool on the roof. Lobby area can be reorganized, it does not have a friendly vibe. Mall of Abu Dhabi is nearby. All attractions like the Grand Mosque, Mandarin Hotel, Corniche Beach, Qasr al Vatan etc are relatively far. Not by car, again. Abu Dhabi is a square but there is no metro and buses are slow due to the non-stop jam & traffic lights, many many traffic lights. To give you an idea: it may take up to 2 hrs to reach to the Grand Mosque from the hotel by public bus. And yet, did not see a better option in the entire city for a similar value at this price. Did not try the open buffet but was looking good & rich. They have to add one more lift to the building.

Everything could be exceptional if there were no inconvenience with the valet parking staff. Abu Dhabi is absolutely friendly to cashless payments everywhere. You do not need to exchange or use ATMs. So, you do not have cash (especially spare change) to give the tips for valet parking. But the staff looks at you each time so exactly that you clearly understand without words that they are waiting for your tips. In my opinion, this is not compatible with the 5* hotel. And it made me feel uncomfortable (even ashamed) because I had to ask them to park or deliver my car a few times daily. I am sure that this problem can be solved. For example, in this hotel, for lunch or dinner, you can add tips to your bill and easily pay by card. Moreover, the staff in the restaurant never hinted for tips. They were super polite and provided an excellent service. And if compared to other 5* hotels, their valet parking staff also never hinted for tips. It was only here, and it was the only "bad side". Everything else was perfect. The food in the restaurant is amazing! Room service — they are an example of politeness. The shisha bar staff was nice and smiley.

This review is an absolute honest feedback. From the moment I stepped in everything was simply a big WOW! Asma at Reception is a royal star, what an amazing example of hospitality. This is an Immaculate property. Excellent maintenance from floor to corners of the lobby. Staff at the valet and front desk were always helpful. From shower cubical to stairs, everything was shining. Our room on 15th floor was the best from all other stays we have had in past at other hotels in the same street, never going anywhere else. Room had everything you need, literally all amenities. 2 large bathrobes 5 towels 4 pillows Iron with board Dental, shower, hygiene and vanity kits Shower gel and conditioner Tremendous door lock system The list goes on and on....

Nice swimming pool (outdoors on top floor), not huge and with only partial views (from windows) but overall very pleasant opportunity to have (and with enjoyable very warm water, not always a guarantee in outdoors swimming pool). Very prompt and helpful staff. Enjoyed also the breakfast buffet, with plenty of choice of both continental/european and middle-easter/asian choices, very nice to have a chef who prepares omlettes and eggs orders on the spot. Very large room (!).

I had a great experience at this hotel. I really value the cleanliness and the smell in the hotels and I was very satisfied. Food was great; I had lunch at the buffet small and cozy, nice variety and taste like home. Chef came personally very kind and the Staff very kind and helpful from the valet to the maids, reception and waitress at the restaurant Krichelle and Cherif were extremely kind and attentive. I’ll be back very soon. Thanks
